ASX-listed firm Skyfii will supply analytics services to 31 Australian shopping centres and office buildings under an extension of an existing agreement with property trust ISPT.

The three year master services agreement covers the deployment of Skyfii’s IO Insight data visualisation and IO Connect guest Wi-Fi management software.

Skyfii’s visualisation tool enables users to see how visitors move through properties. It measures dwell time, visitor count and other metrics, using data from guest Wi-Fi users, people counters, cameras and other sources.

Its uses include determining how weather affects visitor behaviour, identifying areas with the most foot traffic and measuring whether certain zones convert people passing by into visitors.

ISPT is a superannuation-funded property trust with an $18.5 billion portfolio that includes retail, residential and commercial properties. Its new agreement follows a one-year contract it signed with Skyfii in November 2018.

Skyfii's 2019 annual report stated that the company had more than 8,500 venues under contract around the world.

In July 2019, it acquired analytics company Beonic, which specialised in people-counting for customers in retail and other sectors. Beonic's customers at the time included AMP, Lendlease and GPT Group.

This year, Skyfii also announced a contract to deploy its technology for the Sydney Cricket Ground
