MapR Technologies has unveiled a new stream processing solution to accelerate customer adoption of the company’s event streaming and real-time analytics services.

Announced at the Strata + Hadoop World conference and available from today, the ‘Stream Processing Quick Start Solution’ is powered by MapR’s Converged Data Platform and uses the company’s ‘Streams’ offering to provide high-volume event processing capabilities.

According to MapR’s VP of worldwide services Dave Jespersen, the Quick Start Solution will provide “not just a product/technology proposition, but also one that educates and creates operational competency around a key technology for a new, exciting generation of big and fast data applications.”
