[Update: Microsoft has cancelled its Melbourne IoT in Action event for 2020.]

f you want a better understanding of Microsoft Internet of Things (IoT) offerings, it’s worth attending its IoT in Action event in Melbourne on March 5, 2020.

The event aims to give business and technology decision makers the “inside track on the entire IoT technology stack, from edge to cloud.”

On stage will be Microsoft speakers who will talk about high-level issues such as revenue and profitability, and product specialists who can delve into technical detail.

That includes speakers who specialise in the Microsoft Azure Sphere security platform and artificial intelligence platforms. Telstra’s IoT solutions executive Gerhard Loots will also speak at the event.

James Aiken, business intelligence manager at the Melbourne Cricket Club and David Burton, managing director at Building Information Modelling (BIM) consultancy asBUILT Limited, are also on the speaker list.

The agenda includes:

The all-day event will be held at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins and starts with a networking breakfast at 9am. The event is free, but you’ll need to register here.
