Sydney-based Orca Technology has signed a deal to distribute Forescout's cybersecurity solutions in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

The deal sees Orca Tech's partners gain access to Forescout's solutions that cover network security, risk and exposure management, and threat detection and response.

Orca Tech said the deal underscores the escalating demand for fortified cybersecurity solutions within the region and its comittment to providing accessibility to cyber-defence measures.

“Forescout is the leading platform to provide full network visibility for IT, OT and IOT assets," said Craig Ashwood, general manager at Orca Tech.

"When you add on continuous posture assessment, the result aligns directly with best practices and policies set out in the federal government’s Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 in the areas of risk assessment, threat intelligence and access control. Put simply, if you can’t see it, you can’t secure it.”

Orca Tech said Forescout's solutions offer enhanced visibility, control and compliance across heterogeneous IT environments, which enables organisations to strengthen their cyber defences, mitigate risks and safeguard critical assets.

“It’s no secret that Australia is seeing more cyber-attacks as digital transformation becomes ubiquitous, and organisations are looking for ways to increase the visibility of assets to address the growing number of threats and support critical industries,” said Colin Garro, ANZ regional director at Forescout.

“This partnership is grounded in a mutual vision to fortify organisations against evolving cyber threats. Orca Tech's dedication to providing innovative technology and security solutions aligns seamlessly with our mission to safeguard enterprises."

“By combining our cutting-edge technology with Orca Tech's extensive expertise, we aim to empower organisations with comprehensive cybersecurity solutions tailored to their unique needs.”
