SAP announced it is collaborating with Vodafone to release an Internet of Things foundation bundle for its HANA platform.

Announced at CEBIT 2016 in Hannover, Germany, SAP and Vodafone have signed an agreement to collaborate on customer projects in all jointly served markets.

The two companies are looking to combine the telco’s IoT connectivity platform provided with the software firm’s in-memory data analytics platform to support predictive maintenance and other use cases.

The IoT foundation for SAP HANA will aggregate data from SIM-based IoT devices to provide an integrated dashboard for SAP customers to manage their global IoT deployments.
