AT&T has announced a range of IoT resources designed to assist solution providers (SPs) with unlocking the potential of the Internet of Things for their customers.
Announced at AT&T’s Channel Partner Conference this week, the new tools have been added to the company’s AT&T Partner Exchange program.
Three resources have been provided, including:
- A Channel Executive’s Guide to IoT, which provides SPs with insights into current and emerging trends, an allows partners to devise their own IoT strategies with information on building blocks, success stories and available resources
- IoT Readiness Assessment, which, created in collaboration with Infusion Partners, is designed to help SPs get started during development of their IoT offerings. A survey evaluates the SP’s market focus and investment level, and offers a strategy and business plan to assess their IoT readiness and identify potential areas for growth
- AT&T IoT Starter Kit, an all-in-one kit that enables SPs to prototype their own IoT solutions to prepare them for hands-on trials with customers
These products and services build on the AT&T Control Center launched last year, and are designed to enable further action through the company’s Partner Exchange Solutions Center.
In a statement, Sue Galvanek, VP of marketing, pricing and product solutions, AT&T Partner Exchange, said: “IoT is already connecting manufacturing equipment, health monitors, vehicle fleets and much more to the internet.
“We’re building on the success [of the launch of our IoT platform AT&T Control Center last year] by bringing the right blend of products and resources to help solution providers unlock the full potential of IoT.”
The company continues to expand its IoT capabilities, having recently announced a collaboration with IBM to infuse Watson-powered analytics into its offerings, and creating the IoT Cybersecurity Alliance to investigate the challenges around IoT security.
