Data from pedestrian counters could help with the COVID-19 response, says IoT Alliance Australia board member Catherine Caruana-McManus.
She points out that IoT-based pedestrian counters have provided a way to measure the number of people in public places during the crisis. She has been looking at the data in her role as a director of Sydney company Meshed, which created the counters in partnership with local councils.
