How does the Milesight solution work?

In a typical installation, more than 4,400 Milesight sensors are installed on the floors of a building to monitor such critical variables as indoor ambient temperature, humidity, CO₂ levels and people counting.

Additionally, 440 Milesight UG67 LoRaWAN® Gateways are installed approximately every three stories, which have been proved reliable even at a distance of two kilometres away.

Milesight gateways support BACnet, enabling seamless integration of these services into a third-party management platform.

• Accurate Insights about Energy Usage and IAQ
  AM319, AM107, EM300-TH, and EM500-CO2 collect indoor air quality parameters. The AI Workplace Occupancy Sensor VS121 monitors the occupancy of the space. The Smart Portable Socket WS523 monitors electricity consumption. This data is forwarded to gateways in real time. Building operators are able to gain actionable insights on indoor air quality.
• Remote and Automated Management
  Building operators can remotely turn on/off the devices through WS523 based on the data-driven recommendations, thus reducing energy consumption. Also, when receiving IAQ alerts, operators can control the HVAC system remotely to provide improved ventilation.
